Information on Bachelor's Projects from the Subject Board of Studies for Business Communication

A group will be established on Blackboard for students, registered for the Bachelor’s Project. Here, you will find further information about the Bachelor’s Project.

The teaching group arranges a number of meetings in preparation for the Bachelor’s Project. You will be informed about these meetings through your Blackboard group.

As a prelude to the Bachelor’s Project, AU Library will arrange an introduction to Academic Research. You will receive an invitation via Blackboard.

    Practical information

    If you follow your prescribed course of study you must submit your Bachelor’s thesis May 1.You have to register for the Bachelor’s Project no later than October 15 on the Student Self Service.

    If you write your Bachelor’s Project during the autumn semester it must be submitted 1 December.  

    Once you have decided on your topic, you must - by December 1/August 1 - submit the completed form concerning choice of subject to Lene Houtved Lybech at the departmental secretariat in building 1483, room 524.

    Supervisors will be appointed by the teaching group. The appointment of supervisors is announced by January 15 /August 15. Supervision is available from the start of the semester (February 1/September 1). You hold meetings with your supervisor as agreed. The approval of your problem statement is agreed with your supervisor.

    Grades for Bachelor's theses will be released on the Student Self Service June 1/January 1. 

    If May 1/December 1 falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, the submission of your Bachelor’s Project/the release of grades will be the first working day to come.

    Submitting your Bachelor's Project

    The Bachelor’s Project must be uploaded in WISEflow May 1/December 1. Projects prepared in groups must be uploaded individually by all group members.

    Furthermore, the project must be uploaded to Theses@bss. Theses@bss is the AU Library, Aarhus BSS’ e-archive for digital theses.
