Student Welfare Counselling

You can get counselling by our permanently employed Student Welfare Counsellors if you need help regarding:

  • Preventing and dealing with stress 
  • Exam anxiety
  • Doubts about your study, delay, request for resumption of study
  • Study techniques, structure, planning and management of everyday life
  • Other problems of personal matter 


You are welcome to contact us by email, phone, or visiting us at our offices 

If you contact us by email, please describe briefly the nature of your enquiry and write the title of your degree programme.

Before you book a personal counselling appointment with our Student Welfare Counsellors, it’s a good idea to read these Student Counselling pages as well as visit boostyourstudentlife.au.dk where you can find information, links, and advice for a successful student life.

Appointments regarding Student Welfare are a special offer for students at Science and Technology. At times, there will be waiting time for an appointment. For the sake of other students who wish to book an appointment, please contact us at least one day beforehand in case you need to cancel your appointment.

We have duty of confidentiality, and all enquiries are treated with full discretion.

You can contact a Student Welfare Counsellor by:

  • Booking a counselling appointment with one of the Student Welfare Counsellors. The appointment can be booked through this page under 'Book a counselling appointment with a Student Welfare Counsellor."
  • Writing an email to the counsellor you wish to talk to. You can find their individual email addresses to your right, or write to vejledning.st@au.dk if you don’t know which of the three counsellors you wish to contact.
