Title of PhD thesis: ”The Electoral Consequences of Third Way Welfare State Reforms – Social Democracy’s Transformation and its Political Costs”

To complete the PhD study programme in Political Science, Christoph Arnds presents his PhD thesis, giving a public lecture followed by a defence.

The subject of the lecture is:

”Why do social democratic parties sometimes benefit and sometimes suffer politically from welfare state reforms that aim at saving the welfare state from (economic) failure? Include in your discussion reflections based on experiences from other Western countries than those already analyzed”

 



The thesis is titled:
