Course description: Bachelor's thesis for Business Administration students

It is important that you read the course description that refers to the specific semester, where you will be writing your Bachelor’s Thesis, as small adjustments can be made.

The coordinator will hand out a paper containing rules and advice at the information meeting. The information will also be available on Blackboard as soon as the course / group opens in August.

Deadline for handing in the thesis: Last Friday in November at 14:00 pm.

The thesis must be uploaded via WISEflow.

Note: These guidelines ONLY applies to students, who enrolled in the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Administration in September 2016 or earlier.
In September 2017, the programme was transferred to the Board of Studies for Economics and Business Administration, and information regarding the bachelor's theses for students enrolled in the Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration in September 2017 and later must therefore find information regarding the bachelor's thesis on the study portal for Economics and Business Administration.

Registration

From 1 - 7 May at mit.au.dk (self-service facility) in the semester before the project writing commences (always autumn semester).

In April, we invite you to an information meeting. You will be able to find the date in the events calendar on your study portal

At the information meeting, you will receive more information about topics, procedure, etc.

After the information meeting, you must fill in the registration form to specify your topic area.

  • NB: Deadline for filling in the registration form is 15 May at noon.

Requirements

It is allowed for up to three students to write together.

The maximum length of the thesis is 30 standard pages (excl. appendices) for one student, and 24 standard pages per student for group theses.

As a minimum, the thesis must contain the following information on the front page:

  • Bachelor’s Thesis
  • Name and student id no.
  • Name of the supervisor
  • Hand-in date
  • Title in Danish and English
  • Department name
  • Study Programme: BA in Business Administration (Soc)
  • Subject area:
  • The thesis may be published: yes/no

Remember to include a summary in English. 

Submission

WISEflow

You will receive an e-mail from WISEflow, when it is possible to upload your thesis. The thesis must be uploaded via the WISEflow system.

Once you have uploaded your thesis, it is not possible to withdraw it. It is therefore very important that you make absolutely sure that you are uploading the correct version.

The thesis including appendixes must be saved as one PDF-file.  

If you have not previously tried to upload an assignment in WISEflow, please read and follow the instructions

If you write an individual bachelor thesis, you must upload this as a 'single-person-group' (”enkeltmandsgruppe”). If you are going to hand in as a part of a group, please follow these guidelines.

The bachelor's thesis must be saved as one PDF-file and uploaded via ”Besvarelse”. It is possible to upload additional material, which is not in PDF-format, under "Appendix/Bilag".
