Submission of thesis

The master’s thesis must be handed in via both WISEflow and Mastertheses.bss@au.dk.

You are not allowed to hand in a paper copy of the thesis, as it is the uploaded version that is legally binding. After you have handed in the thesis in WISEflow, it will automatically be made accessible to supervisor and external examiner when the hand-in period expires.

WISEflow

You will receive an email from WISEflow, when the flow opens, and it is possible to upload your thesis.

  • Students enrolled before 1 September 2015: Deadline for upload is 15 August at 14.00
  • Students enrolled after 1 September 2015: Deadline for upload is 1 June at 14.00

The flow will be a group flow. If you have not previously tried to upload an assignment in a WISEflow group flow, please read and follow the instructions carefully. If you are not in a group, you will have to choose "Create one-person group".

The thesis including appendixes must be saved as one PDF-file and uploaded under “Paper”.

Once you have uploaded your thesis, it is not possible to withdraw it. Therefore, you must make absolutely sure that you upload the correct version.

Under the category “Extra material”, you can upload material like movies, sound, programs (Excel, SAS mv.). The extra material does not have to be a pdf-file, and you can hand in more than one file up to a maximum size of 5 GB.

You will receive more information from the department regarding upload via Blackboard.

Mastertheses.bss@au.dk
You must also send your thesis as a pdf-file to this email adress: Mastertheses.bss@au.dk.
Remember to state your student number in the subject field. Please make sure that you use your AU email.
The thesis will be made available through AU Library, unless the thesis is marked confidential.

Oral defence
The department will send you information regarding the oral defence of the thesis either via mail or Blackboard. Read more here: Defence and assessment
