ECON Data and Software Lab

Have you been introduced to software tools and resources for empirical research?

The goal of the ECON Data and Software Lab (EDSL) is to help students with text edition, data access, programming resources and graphical representation. This is in order to assist students to produce empirical research and their theses.

The workshops are run as a “study café”. The first hour of the session consists of an introduction to software/database by us.  The rest of the session is a Q&A for further practice and/or general questions.

Time and Location:

  • Tuesdays from 11.00 to 14.00 in weeks 5-6, 9-12 and 14-17.
  • Mondays from 11.00 to 14.00 in weeks 7-8.
  • Location: Building 2627 – Room H10.

EDSL is open for all Economics and Management students no matter the year of your student ID. Registration is not necessary.
