Progression requirements for the Bachelor's degree programme

The progression requirements for the Bachelor’s degree programme have been altered. This means that you are free to register for extra courses in the coming semester in addition to the 30 ECTS which you will be registered for in accordance with the academic regulations for your programme. However, you cannot be certain of having the subject allocated as this is dependent on whether there are places. But your registration is still binding if you are allocated a place. You will be notified as to whether you have been allocated a place before the start of the semester.

The allocation of seats for the subjects will take place as follows:

  1. The students who have rightfully reached the semester will be allocated places first and are guaranteed a place.
  2. If there are extra places available, they will be filled from the highest “lower” semester until all the places have been filled. If the number of students exceeds the number of places, lots will be drawn.

Example:

Students from both the second and third semesters have applied for a course on the fourth semester. We allocate places first to the fourth semester, followed by the third and then the second. If five students from the third semester have applied, but there are only three extra places on the fourth semester course, lots will be drawn among the five students. None of the students on the second semester will receive a place.
