Why can I not see my courses?

In Blackboard you can only see the courses where you are enrolled via STADS. The courses will not be visible until a few weeks before the course starts. This gives the instructor time to set up information at the course page.

How to download your course content from Blackboard

Before Blackboard shuts down on 31 October, make sure you have downloaded all the relevant files you want to save. You can download all files from a Blackboard course by doing the following:

  1. Go to the front of the Blackboard and select the "Course Download Tool" module.
  2. Click on the Course Download link, and an overview of registered courses will open. Select the courses from which you want to download files.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Download. You will now receive an email confirming that the process has started. When your download is complete, you will receive an email with a link to a ZIP file with the requested course content from Blackboard.

Content not included

  • Text in the course that has not been uploaded as files. For example, messages from the educator or meta description of the file.
  • Files you have uploaded in Blackboard, such as assignment submissions. However, these can be downloaded manually in each course.
