The well-known student bar Klubben has, following its relocation from Fuglesangs Allé, been continued in new premises in the University City and is now located in the basement of building 1832. Konverterbar has also been given a new location and is now housed in building 1814. You may also use the areas as a study environment during daytime hours.
Klubben, the legendary Friday bar, has long been the heart of student life – from packed quiz nights to unforgettable parties, and this continues: Klubben has moved to a new location – including the bus.
The familiar student bar has relocated to the basement of building 1832 in the University City. Klubben is changing its address – not its soul. If you don’t know Klubben yet, it is run by Studenterlauget and serves as the shared faculty bar and meeting place for all students. It’s where you celebrate finishing exams, meet classmates for a Friday beer, or simply relax.
Klubben has opened in a fully refurbished space – yet still with all its original charm, and perhaps even with better equipment than before. And because it’s located in the University City, it’s closer to other campus activities, and neighbours might even drop by – expanding the party crowd thanks to tunnels leading directly to Klubben’s entrance.
Klubben is open on Thursdays from 12:00 to 20:00 and on Fridays from 12:00 to 02:00.
Alongside Klubben, Konverterbar – another popular student bar (often visited by economics students) – has a new home in building 1814. Konverterbar is open on Fridays from 16:00 to 20:00.
Both major Aarhus BSS social venues will survive the move. AU has designed these spaces as multifunctional rooms: during the day, they can be used as study lounges or group work areas, and in the evening, they transform into vibrant bars and social hubs.
In short: Campus 2.0 brings beautiful new buildings – and the spirit and fun of Klubben (including the bus) moves with us.
