The Thesis Club is an academic community where you can get feedback, advice, and tips for your thesis process.
The club meets once a month at the Nobel Library. The meetings are organized by the Arts Student Guidance Office and AU Library, so in addition to meeting other thesis students, you’ll always have the chance to talk to a student counsellor or a librarian.
Meeting dates:
Wednesday, 4 February, 1:00–2:00 PM – Getting Started!
Get inspired by former thesis writers and student counsellors. Learn how to stay motivated and set yourself up for a successful thesis journey.
Wednesday, 4 March, 1:00–2:00 PM – Map Out Your Thesis
Gain a clear overview of your thesis, including potential opportunities and challenges. This session is also a great chance to pitch your thesis idea and get feedback from fellow students.
Wednesday, 8 April, 1:00–2:00 PM – Good Supervision
How do you build a strong relationship with your supervisor and get the most out of your supervision? Get insights and share experiences at this meeting.
Wednesday, 6 May, 1:00–2:00 PM – The Toolbox
Short presentations on GAI, reference management, and formal requirements as submission day approaches. All questions are welcome, and—as always—you can talk to a librarian and a student counsellor.
Location: AU Library Nobelparken – behind the glass wall.
The Thesis Club is for Arts students at Aarhus University who plan to submit their thesis in summer 2026. By signing up, you’ll automatically be registered for all four sessions, so remember to mark your calendar.
