Guide to registering for courses on STADS self-service

Note: The registration forms on the Student Self Service system are not adaptet to smartphones
- we recommend that you use a computer.

1) Log on to Student Self Service via

2) Select the "Courses" tab

3) Select "Register"

4) Select the relevant registration form

Registration forms for the degree programme(s) you are enrolled in are available For example, if you are enrolled in the BA programme in English, you can register for courses in your degree programme as well as humanities electives.

If you are starting a new degree programme on 1 September - a new BA programme, a supplementary subject or an MA programme - you will not be able to register before 20 August as a general rule.

The exception is students enrolled in the MA programmes in the study of religion, theology, history and media studies, all of whom should register for MA courses in their programmes during the normal registration period.

5) Select options in pop up window

It will present you with different options (fx ”ønsket sted”, ”hold”, ”prioritering”, ”, ”lektionsgruppe”). Select an option from the drop-down menu by clicking on the arrow at the right. If no options appear, go to the next step.

6) Save

When you are sure that you have filled out the registration form correctly:

  • Click "Save" in the upper right-hand corner

Now repeat steps 4 through 7 for all of the courses you wish to register for.

Registration for courses is only about the courses. You should not worry about type of examination and exam registration now. You must decide on type of examination when registering for examinations in the spring.
