Prerequisites: Basic calculus and linear algebra.
The package provides: a broad introduction to technical electrophysiology; and an introduction to theoretical and computational methods for analysis of electrophysiological signals. The package is relevant for students who are interested in analysis and modelling of electrophysiological signals for medical applications or within neuroscience.
Prerequisites: Linear electronic circuits, analog and digital signal processing, calculus and linear algebra.
Telemedicine is the use of telecommunication and information technology to provide clinical health care from a distance. It helps eliminate distance barriers and can improve access to medical services that would often not be consistently available in distant rural communities, while ambient assisted living refers to intelligent systems of assistance for a better, healthier and safer life in the preferred living environment of senior citizens and covers concepts, products and services that interlink and improve new technologies and the social environment.
Prerequisites: Basic programming skills, and basic knowledge of human physiology and histology.
The package provides a good introduction to functional neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, and brain disorders, including statistical analyses of brain scans. The package is relevant for students who are interested in learning fundamental aspects of brain structure and function in health and diseases with particular focus on neuroimaging methods and their applications.
Prerequisites: Basic human anatomy and physiology as well as basic statistics.
Prerequisites: Mathematical skills according to the educational requirements and basic microscopic and macroscopic human anatomy.
All the courses in a package or part of the courses.
You can choose study group courses (5 ECTS courses possible. Up to 10 ECTS in total)
