Global Management Challenge – is with approx. 70,000 contestants the world’s largest online case competition and, at the same time, it is effective management practice. The case is based on a sophisticated computer simulation of the world market used in MBA courses and in companies internationally. The competition in Denmark included a preliminary round, semifinals and a final – each with 5 management decisions with 66 parameters.

Karen Schenker, Diana Dumitrascu and Stefan Floria have at the Global Management Challenge qualified to a spot in the Danish final under the team name “Masters of Business”. They are all three enrolled in the MSc programme in Engineering - Technology Based Business Development at AU Herning. The final took place on 11 April in the new “Dome of Visions” at Krøyers Plads in Copenhagen. During the finals, they only had approx. an hour, compared to normally a couple of days, to make the 66 management decisions. They were up against the best teams from Zealand (CBS, DTU, etc.), out of whom 2 were participating in the Danish finals for the third time and both teams have participated in the world finals once.
