Introduction week - master

Master's introduction week 2020

Welcome to your new degree programme at
Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University

Due to new recommendations for preventing the spread of COVID-19, Aarhus University has decided that all introduction week activities for new students are cancelled up or postponed up to and including 23 August.

At the moment, we are expecting to be able to carry through the introduction week for your degree programme as planned (see the programme on this page). However, we encourage you to stay up to date on these pages and on your AU email. Changes may occur.

Stay updated on the Covid-19 guidelines at Aarhus BSS on the FAQ for Aarhus BSS students!

Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University welcomes all new students.

To make it an easier start for you at Aarhus University, we have gathered some practical information for you. You will find information on student card, self service, contact information and other useful things in the right-hand menu. You will of course also find information about the Master Introduction Days.

All the activities will start at Campus Fuglesangs Allé 4, 8210 Aarhus V.

Commencement of studies

Wednesday 26 August from 08.00 - 14.30

This day is mainly for the international students and will take place in Auditorium G (Harvard) in building 2626. You will get a thorough introduction to studying and living in Denmark, get introduced to the Buddy Programme and to Career & Alumni. If you are NOT an international student, but neither been a student at Aarhus BSS before, then you can participate from 12.15, where you will be introduced to relevant webpages and IT etc., so you are ready for your Introduction Day on either Thursday or Friday.

Thursday 27 August from 08.00 - 18.00 & Friday 28 August from 08.00 - 18.00

Thursday and Friday are for ALL new Master students. Due to covid-19, these Introduction Days will be divided, so Thursday is for some Master study lines, whereas Friday is for other Master study lines. You will be further informed in the Welcome mail, that you will receive in August. The programme for both Thursday and Friday will be the exact same and will contain various interesting arrangements. It is optional to participate in the Introduction Days, but we highly recommend all students to participate, since we are working hard to make sure you get the best possible start at your master study. Remember to bring your Student Identity Card, money (debet or credit cards since this arrangement is cashless) and your computer for the Master Case Challenge!
