There may be a number of reasons that can cause inactivity or a study delay. For example, you may have been ill, have failed an exam, been on maternity/paternity leave or other reasons. But regardless of the reason, it is important that you are aware of the rules that apply in the area.

Most important; according to Aarhus University’s rules on study activity, your enrolment will be terminated if you have been inactive in your studies for two years or if you do not participate in any exams for one year.

You can read more about the rules and regulations regarding inactivity at your study portal under the item Counselling. Here you will also find information about exemptions etc.
