Climate Challenge 2018

“Climate Challenge” is arranged by Studenterhus Aarhus and Climatorium, which is developed within the EU project: Coast to Coast Climate Challenge.

2018.10.18 | Heidi Søndergaard

This week, we'll focus on how different academic and scientific fields can contribute in meeting the climate challenges. We bring together students, researchers and those  businesses working on solving the climate challenges within different industries. It is an inspirational week, where we'll get to hear inspirational talks from both businesses and researchers within several fields such as technology, communication and innovation

Climate Challenge will be held in week 45, 2018. If you are an international student, Tuesday and Thursday of the week are especially for you! On Tuesday we focus on development and business opportunities for international students in the climate area. Here, you will get the opportunity to get inspiration from interesting speakers and meet some of the businesses, who can help you start your climate career in Denmark – whether you study engineering, business, science or within the humanities. On Thursday, we'll have a study trip to the west coast of Denmark, where we'll get a first-hand experience of the climate challenges when we visit Le Mur, an architectural masterpiece which protects Lemvig from high waters. We will also be tasting oysters and visiting businesses dealing with climate change. Every presentation on these two days will be held in English.
