Study space

Application for study space

Twice a year (at the beginning of 1st semester and 2nd semester), students at the Department of Mathematics may apply for a study space for the coming semester. When it is time to apply, you will be able to fill in the online application form.

Specifically for exchange students:
Five shared study spaces have been allocated for international exchange students, and it is not necessary to fill in an application form. In order to gain access to the study space, you need to pay a deposit of DKK 300 for a key (STU key). The deposit will be refunded when you return the key.
The deposit must be paid by credit or debit card via the AU webshop. Cash payment is not possible. When you have paid the deposit, you can pick up the key at the Math Information Office (1530-119).

Allocation of study space

A few days after the application deadline, you will find a list of the allocated study spaces on the notice board outside the Math Information Office (1530-119). If you have been granted a study space, you will need to pay a deposit of DKK 300 for a key (STU key) to gain access to the office. The deposit will be refunded when you return the key.

The deposit must be paid by credit or debit card via the AU webshop. Cash payment is not possible. When you have paid the deposit, you can pick up the key at the Math Information Office (1530-119) during office hours (Monday to Thursday 8:00-15:30, Friday 8:00-15:00).

When you no longer have a study space

When you are no longer entitled to a study space, you must return your key to the Information Office immediately, whereafter the deposit of DKK 300 will be reimbursed.
