Credit transfer and duty of disclosure

Credit transfer and duty of disclosure

All newly admitted students on Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programmes must inform the university about any degree programme elements or courses at university level that they have passed previously as part of other incomplete degree programmes.

As a general rule, credit transfer is only possible for courses at the same educational level.

When applying, you must remember to upload documentation of the fact that you have passed one or more such courses. This is because Aarhus University is obliged to carry out a compulsory assessment of whether these courses justify credit transfer.

If you fail to provide information (and/or if you provide incorrect information) about subjects you have passed previously on courses of further education on which you were previously registered, this may influence your chances of continuing on your degree programme.

If the educational activities in question are deemed to justify credit transfer to the new Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme, credit transfer will be granted
