The names of the two new faculties have now been agreed
The two new faculties will be called the Faculty of Technical Sciences and the Faculty of Natural Sciences following the split of Science and Technology on January 1, 2020.
The list below shows which of the two faculties departments and centres will come under.

Department of Chemistry
Department of Mathematics
Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Centre (iNANO)
Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics
*) Placing of the Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics, and the Section for Crop Genetics and Biotechnology have yet to be confirmed.
As part of the division of Science and Technology, a dean must be appointed to each of the two new faculties. The positions have just been advertised with the deadline for applications on 23 September. The appointment of the two new deans is expected to be in place for 1 January, when the division takes effect, and the two new faculties arise.
