AMBA accreditation for School of Business and Social Sciences

School of Business and Social Sciences has just received yet another international seal of approval, the AMBA accreditation.

The accreditation awarded by the Association of MBAs is a recognition of BSS’ MBA programme. BSS has already secured the AACSB accreditation and an EQUIS accreditation of the school’s core business activities, and with these three accreditations, BSS is now a Triple Crown accredited business school. It is a seal of approval that only 64 other institutions in the world have achieved.

Strengthens students and researchers internationally
BSS has been awarded these three accreditations following a thorough and systematic assessment of the quality of the school’s business programmes, researchers, students, strategy and administration.

“International employers are aware of the qualifications that distinguish a student with a business degree from a Triple Crown accredited business school. BSS’ international accreditations may very well have great significance to our students who seek a career in international companies,” says Svend Hylleberg, dean of School of Business and Social Sciences.

He further adds that the accreditations benefit the research and teaching environments in terms of attracting international researchers, lecturers and students to the business disciplines.

Last but not least, the triple accreditation is likely to lead to new exchange agreements, which means that BSS’ students will have even more opportunities to go on exchange to other accredited universities in the world.
