Autumn 2021 courses are now open in Brightspace

All students now have access to the autumn semester’s courses in Brightspace, AU’s new learning platform, which has now replaced Blackboard. For you as a student, one consequence of the change is that you will need to decide how you want to receive information about your courses. Find out more here.

Brightspace has replaced Blackboard as AU’s learning platform, and students can now access their autumn semester courses in Brightspace (find out how to log in to Brightspace here).

Content, including course materials and other important information from your lecturers, will be added to the courses that have been created in Brightspace as the semester progresses. Brightspace has all the functions that many students are familiar with from Blackboard – just on a platform with a new, more intuitive user interface. To get off to a good start, we recommend that you check out the guides to the most important functions on AU Studypedia.

All AU students have received an email containing important information about how to make sure that you get the most important information about your courses. If you haven’t read the mail, read on to find out what your options are.

How to get important information about your courses in Brightspace
