Make your voice heard – stand for election in the AU elections
You and your fellow students have a seat at the table – and you have a real influence on your degree programmes. In November, it will be time for students to elect their representatives to boards of studies, academic councils and PhD committees. And this is your chance to get involved and make a differ-ence – you can register your candidacy between 6 and 10 November.
If you’ve ever thought ‘Surely we could do this better!’ about any aspect of your programme, this is your chance to do something about it.
As a member of a board of studies, academic council or PhD council, you have a voice on all aspects of your degree programme, from the big issues like the curriculum and how exams are administered to small changes that can improve everyday life for you and your fellow students. And it’s also an opportunity for personal and professional development: you get experience with decision-making processes, expand your network and get to know the university from a new perspective – and improve your CV.
Elections will be held at Aarhus University in November for staff and student representatives on the boards of studies, academic councils and PhD committees.
