The East Jutland police have just released additional information about the bomb threat against the Fuglesangs Allé campus on 17 December. According to the statement issued by the police,

 ‘The case is considered solved.

A 22-year-old man has confessed to making the bomb threat against the Fuglesangs Allé campus in Aarhus on Monday, and the East Jutland police consider the case solved.

At 18.15 yesterday evening, a 22-year-old man contacted the East Jutland police, and confessed that he was responsible for the bomb threat against the Fuglesangs Allé campus on Monday 17 December.

This is not the same 22-year-old man who was taken into investigative custody yesterday. Yesterday’s arrest was performed on the background of a suspicion that there was an accomplice who had not been apprehended. It is this accomplice who contacted the police yesterday evening.

The 22-year-old who has confessed to making the bomb threat was interrogated by the police today, and the case is considered solved. The two 22-year-olds know each other and are both being charged with making the bomb threat.

Both were released today, as there are no longer any grounds for investigative custody.’

All requests for further information about the case should be directed to the East Jutland police.
