The AU Run is taking place this Saturday: Here’s what it means for road users in the University Park
On Saturday 21 May, the annual AU Run will be held in the University Park. This means that some of the streets and parking spaces in the University Park will be closed. Find out which areas will be affected here.
This Saturday, the University park will once again be filled with sporting activity when the annual running event for students and staff at Aarhus University, the AU Run, takes place. For the entire day, the park will form the backdrop for a range of activities, running enthusiasts, voluntary associations and keen spectators. But, of course, this will also involve closing some of the roads and parking facilities in the park.
These roads and parking spaces will be closed:
- Between 13.00 and 15.15, a number of car parking areas will be closed. These are marked in red on the map. It will not be possible to access or leave these areas by car.
- The parking facilities at the Steno Museum and the Museum of Natural History will be inaccessible for the entire day. Volunteers will be stationed on all access roads to the University Park to help direct you to the nearest parking space.
- Volunteers will be stationed at all the barriers on access roads to the University Park. These barriers will open and close as required as runners make their way around the course. Please direct all your parking questions on the day to the volunteers.
