You can now start using your new AU email
All AU students can now start using their new mailbox. You now also have access to Teams and other tools in the Microsoft 365 package, so you’ll have better opportunities for digital collaboration. You’ll hear more about Teams and the other tools after the summer holidays, but here is some information about what you should already keep in mind.

Your AU email has now been moved from post.au.dk to Microsoft Exchange (Outlook), and you can start using it. Read more about how to access your email and what will happen to your old emails on the AU email information webpage.
Better opportunities for collaboration
Along with your new mailbox, you have also gained access to Teams and the other tools in the Microsoft 365-package. Students and teachers have been requesting a more up-to-date platform to facilitate their academic work and to offer better opportunities for online collaboration. With Teams you can collaborate not only with your fellow students, but also external partners such as your internship host organisations.
You will receive much more information about how you can use Teams and the other Microsoft 365 tools after the summer holidays. But you can already learn more about the new opportunities on the Microsoft 365 webpage.
If your teachers intend to use Teams for your courses in the autumn semester, you may find that they have already added you to a team. In this case, you will receive an email in your AU inbox.
Teams is not replacing Brightspace
Please note that Teams is not a replacement for Brightspace, which is still AU’s learning platform. You should still use Brightspace to find your courses, syllabi, PowerPoint slides and other teaching material.
It is also in Brightspace that you will receive important information about your classes, such as venue changes or cancellations.
