Please note the parking restrictions in the University Park
In September 2012, new parking regulations were introduced for the roads in the University Park. This means that you can only park for a maximum of 4 hours between 07.00 and 17.00.
In recent days, a number of Aarhus University employees have been annoyed by a message left by parking attendants on their windscreens, and this has resulted in questions regarding the parking regulations in the University Park.
In September 2012, new parking regulations were introduced for the roads in the University Park. This means that you can only park for a maximum of 4 hours between 07.00 and 17.00.
The restrictions only concern the inner roads in the park, and thus do not apply to areas such as basement car parks and specific parking spaces.
The regulations apply along the following roads – to the extent that parking is currently authorised here:
- Bartholins Allé
- Wilhelm Meyers Allé
- C.F. Møllers Allé
- Ole Worms Allé
- Karl Verners Vej
- Niels Jensens Vej
- Victor Albecks Vej
- Carl Holst-Knudsens Vej
The restricted areas are signposted with P signs at the entry and exit, and the areas where parking is permitted are marked with striping to make it easy to see exactly which areas are affected by the new regulations.
Parking attendants employed by Aarhus Municipality enforce the parking regulations in the University Park.
