The Library at Fuglesangs Allé is Closing and Moving to Bartholins Allé
The university will vacate the buildings at Fuglesangs Allé in early 2026. However, the library at Fuglesangs Allé will close already on 31 October 2025.
From 1 November to 14 November 2025, the library will be relocated from Fuglesangs Allé to Bartholins Allé and merged with the existing library there, AU Library, Bartholins Allé.
This means that from 31 October, you will need to use the library at Bartholins Allé instead.

When ordering materials, be aware that from 17 October, you will no longer be able to select “AU Fuglesangs Allé, Aarhus” as the pickup location. Instead, you can choose either: “AU Bartholins Allé, Aarhus”, or “KB Victor Albecks Vej, Aarhus”.
Study spaces and group rooms
The move will also bring new opportunities for studying on campus. A large number of new group rooms and study spaces have been established in Universitetsbyen – near teaching rooms, lecture halls, and the library. Additionally, there are both group rooms and study spaces available around Universitetsparken.
