New assistant professor at Center for Music in the Brain.
Massimo Lumaca has been appointed assistant professor at MIB.
Massimo Lumaca has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Neurobiology from La Sapienza - Università di Roma. Concurrently he undertook musical studies at the conservatory Santa Cecilia and Alfredo Casella.
In 2017 he obtained a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at SISSA - International School of Advanced Studies, Trieste. In 2017 he came to Aarhus and began his postdoctoral work at MIB investigating the evolutionary origins of music by integrating methods and insights from cultural evolution and cognitive neuroscience.
