Medicinal Plants in Thailand

Thailand is a multicultural country with over 30 ethnic minorities who still maintain many of their cultural traditions and among those, traditional uses of medicinal plants. Many of these uses remain undocumented even if they are an important part of Thailand’s health system. This MSc project would involve field work with interviews and observations in a traditional Thai village and subsequent analysis and presentation of the data. The field work will be coordinated with Thai ethnobotanical researchers and the field work will be carried out jointly with Thai students.
