Hvilke typer projekter eller emner kunne I arbejde sammen med en studerende?
In the department for New Concepts & Power-to-X, we work on new technologies and ideas that will support Vestas’ products in the long term.
Student projects will typically be feasibility studies and general technology development. Typical subjects would be material science, aerodynamics, electrodynamics and optics.
Example projects:
- Approaches to modelling material damage caused by rain erosion
- Alternatives to ultrasonic detection of defects in glass fibre
- Effects of lightning strike on metallic leading edges
- Power requirements for ultrasonic bat deterrent whistles
Hvilke forventninger har I til den erhvervsprojektstuderende?
We expect the project student to be independent, curious, and enterprising. A large part of the project work will be carried out independently, so the student must be able to find information individually. We also expect the student to spend time at Vestas’ office in Aarhus N on a regular basis.
Hvad er jeres motivation for at deltage i erhvervsprojektet?
We expect to get qualified feedback on the project. Furthermore, we wish to broaden the knowledge about Vestas as workplace as well as contribute to educating candidates with relevant knowledge for the wind energy sector.
Hvad kan den studerende lære af at deltage i et erhvervsprojekt sammen med jer?
The student can expect to work in a global, technical environment with a large degree of cross-disciplinary work. Apart from learning the scientific foundation of wind energy, the student will learn how to structure project work in a business environment.
