New exchange students at ASB

On 23-29 January, 140 exchange students were given an introduction to Aarhus and to ASB.

We joined the students on the third day of the introductory week and went for a "cross town rally" in Aarhus where the students experienced the throbbing of Aarhus on an ordinary Thursday afternoon. It was also an opportunity to talk to some of the new students about their impression of Denmark and of ASB.

- So far, I am very pleased. ASB seems to make an effort to introduce the students to the city and to ASB. This has left me with an impression of a very professional school, says Jörg Pollmeier from Hannover, Germany.

Jennifer English from Canada moved into the student hostel, Skjoldhøjkollegiet, a week ago and she is already drawing parallels between life in Canada and Denmark.

- The weather is the same with slush and melting snow, but also the school reminds me of my Canadian school. Normally, I go to school in a small town outside of Montreal, which is similar to Aarhus. Language and the culture are, of course, the biggest differences, says Jennifer who is here to study Business Administration.

All the exchange students look forward to start their studies and think that everybody has been very welcoming.
