Do you have a really great idea that simply needs to be shared?
Until 15 August 2026, you can submit nominations for The Otto Mønsted Foundation Bright Idea Award.
The Foundation awards 2 X 250.000 DKK in order to “reward, recognize and celebrate ideas that can create value for Danish society and business and serve to honour Denmark.”
The idea must have great business potential”, combining “high academic insight with strong business acumen”.
One early stage idea as well as one late stage idea are rewarded.
The foundation will assess the nominations based on the following parameters:
- Excellence in thought, communication, analysis and documentation
- Degree of business vision and understanding
- The likelihood that the Bright Idea can be implemented
- The value and importance of the idea to the Danish business community
- The extent to which the idea can contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
