For take-home assignments, you must apply for an exemption via mitstudie.au.dk.
When applying for an exemption, you must include your exam assignment and any appendices, ensuring that all material to be assessed is submitted with the exemption application.
A prerequisite for being granted an exemption is that you can document exceptional circumstances that prevented you from submitting your exam assignment within the deadline. Exceptional circumstances are defined as circumstances beyond your responsibility in relation to the exam.
