Work Tasks

As an TA, you will teach other students in subjects you have previously studied. The TA's tasks vary from course to course but typically include:

  • Preparation and conducting of weekly exercises
  • Weekly instructor meetings
  • Grading and providing feedback on assignments and project submissions
  • Guiding students via web forums and in the study cafe, etc.

Qualifications

The positions can be applied for by students at the Department of Computer Science.

Employment as a TA typically requires that the student has completed the first 2 years of a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent level. Other students may be employed if the department assesses that the individual is academically qualified to hold the position.

Therefore, students who, as of September 2025, have completed the first year of the bachelor's degree are also encouraged to apply.

The employment is based on an overall assessment of the individual applicant's academic, pedagogical, and personal qualifications, including insight into the subject, work experience, and any teaching experience.
