Get Ready for Your Exam at the Exam Hall
Make sure you’ve got all the practical stuff sorted, so you can focus on what really matters – your exam!
The winter exams are coming up! Here’s a quick guide to the Exam Hall, so you know where to go and what to expect.
Where is it?
All written exams at Aarhus University take place in the Exam Hall at Ib Spang Olsens Gade 7, 8200 Aarhus N.
Who will you be sitting with?
Up to 100 students per room – from your own degree programme and other AU degree programmes.
If you’ve been granted exemption for e.g. extra time or screened seating, you’ll still be in the same room as your fellow students.
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your exam starts!
You can enter the room 30 minutes before the exam begins. Make sure both you and your computer are ready when the exam starts. If you arrive earlier, you can wait in the lobby, where you’ll find toilets, snacks, and drink machines. But don’t come too early – space is limited.
During the exam
Everyone starts at the same time, but finishing times vary.
- You can’t leave the room during the first hour.
- When you leave, please be quiet and considerate of those still working.
