To log in to AU's systems, you often use your AU ID as a username.
You will find your AU ID at mitstudie.au.dk
The username used for these services:
You can change your password, as described above, on https://adgang.au.dk/en
You have the option to be displayed with a self-chosen alias in AU’s systems where your name is shown to other students – this applies to Brightspace, Teams, and your AU email solution via Microsoft Exchange. If you do not choose an alias, you will appear with the name you are registered with in the CPR register.
Below, you can read what to do if you want to change your alias. Note that your name will not be changed in all systems – for example, your CPR name will still be available to your examiners in WISEflow.
When you log in to mystudies.au.dk, your name is displayed at the top of the page. If you click on it, a menu with profile settings will appear. Here you can change your alias to a self-chosen name, and the setting will take effect in all AU systems where it is not necessary to display your CPR name (e.g., in connection with exam assessment).
If you are registered for name and address protection in the CPR register before Novermber 1 you must update the name yourself via mystudies.au.dk.
If you are registered for name and address protection in the CPR register after November 1, AU har automatically assigned you an alias consisting of a sequence of numbers. You will receive an email with information about this, as soon as we register the name and address protection.
You are encouraged to changes this sequence of numbers to an alias of your own choosing. See the link above.
The address lists in M365 can be displayed to both employees and students. If you need neither your name nor nickname to be displayed here, you can contact your local IT support. Please note that this may affect your use of the systems in teaching, as you cannot be searched.
