Basic inorganic chemistry (chemical bond theory; phases; reactions in solutions; stoichiometry; chemical thermodynamics; reaction kinetics). Descriptive chemistry (the most important elements, their occurrence in minerals, their production and use, and most important chemical compounds). Brief introduction to organic chemistry.
