The course is an introduction to statistical analysis.
The main topics are: Linear normal models (including linear regression and variance analysis), multinominal models, and graphical models. Some estimation and test theory will be introduced in connection with these model types.

Course period: One semester course
Teaching arrangement: 3 hours of lectures and 3 hours of problem sessions per week; 2 compulsory assignments each consisting of a statistical analysis of a set of data.
