Physics 211 is an introductory course in theoretical (2/3) and experimental (1/3) classical electrodynamics. The experimental portion of the course follows the theoretical material closely. The subjects covered include: electric and magnetic fields in vacuum and in media, electromagnetic induction, electric and magnetic energy, AC circuits, and Maxwell's equations. The evolution of this subject matter continues in Physics 212.
