Goal
To illustrate selected molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal activity.
Contents
The course will include structural-functional studies of ion channels, signal pathways involved in synaptic activity and plasticity. Molecular mechanisms involved in neuropathological conditions as Alzheimer and Parkinsons disease will be discussed.
Form
4 hours lecture/group discussion once weekly for 6 weeks.
