Avoid parking fines: New parking rules for selected car parks in the University Park
Between 15 March and 1 October 2016, three car parks at the University Park will be reserved for AU employees between 7:00 and 17:00 on weekdays as part of a pilot project aimed at improving parking conditions for employees. Students are advised to find alternative car parks in order to avoid a parking fine.
The car parks in the University Park are popular with drivers, and it is often difficult for university staff to find a vacant parking spot. This can be particularly inconvenient in connection with teaching duties. Many lecturers have busy schedules and need to drive to different AU buildings in the course of their day. AU has selected three car parks that will be reserved for AU employees during a trial period from 15 March to 1 October 2016.
The three car parks are located at:
- Trøjborgvej 82-84 (the intersection of Ndr. Ringgade and Nørrebrogade)
- The Bartholin building (between building 1240 and Nørrebrogade)
- The molecular biology building (between building 1130 and C.F. Møllers Allé)
Each car park will be marked with a signs from ParkZone. See the sign below.
Please be aware that you will receive a parking fine if your car is parked in one of these three lots between 15 March and 1 October and a parking attendant is patrolling the area. Instead, you should park in a public parking spot.
You will find public parking spots at the following locations around the University Park:
Trøjborgvej
- Along Trøjborgvej and Peter Sabroes Gade
Bartholin
- Municipal street with four-hour parking, in addition to additional parking in the area
- Toll car park at the Museum of Natural History
Biology
- Municipal street with four-hour parking, in addition to additional parking in the area
- Toll car park at the Museum of Natural History
