Limited IT during the weekend of 4 and 5 February

IT maintenance work will affect AU’s IT systems and services and cause interruptions at different times during the weekend of 4 – 5 February 2023.

A number of IT systems will be unavailable for shorter og longer periods during the weekend 4 and 5 February.

IT maintenance work will affect AU’s IT systems and services and cause interruptions at different times during the weekend of 4 – 5 February 2023. 

AU IT, AU Finance and AU Estates Projects and Development will carry out a planned service window from Saturday 4 February at 00.01 to Sunday 5 February at 23:59. Necessary updates to systems, etc. will be carried out to ensure students and employees the greatest possible degree of IT system functionality, operational stability and security. 

During the service window you must expect periodic disruptions in a number of IT serivces due to network changes, system updates and tests. 

Throughout the weekend of the service window, you will be able to use AV equipment locally in lecture theatres/classrooms, and you will be able to work locally on your computer, though without connection to central IT systems, shared drives, the video centre, AU's network or the internet. 

Plan for the service window  

On Saturday  there will be maintenance work on a number of IT services from 00.01 until 20.00 at the latest. 

On Sunday there will also be maintenance work on a number of IT services. This time from 07.00 until 19.00 at the latest. 

Systems like SOA and STADS will undergo updates and periodic disruptions for shorter or longer periodes is to be expected. 

On Sunday Post.au.dk will be updated and will be periodical unavailable. 

The following systems are among those which will also be affected by the service window: Economy systems, a number of database- and webservers, WorkZone and GitLab.
