Circle U.’s Climate Day 2026: Do you want to contribute?
On 22 April, Circle U. will hold its annual Climate Day with a focus on sustainability and climate. Students and staff are invited to suggest and organise activities. Submit your idea by 20 February.
Once again, AU's university alliance Circle U. is zooming in on climate and sustainability at the annual Climate Day, which takes place on 22 April across the alliance.
All students and staff are encouraged to contribute with their own ideas for activities on the day. The goal is to put together a programme with a mix of online and hybrid activities across all nine universities – and onsite events and activities for students and staff at each university.
All ideas and suggestions are welcome - and examples of formats could be:
- Panel discussions
- Lectures and keynotes
- Workshops
- Webinars
- Exhibitions
- Green walks around campus
- Much more
Contribute to the programme
If you have an idea for an event or activity on Climate Day – online, hybrid, or in-person at AU – please submit it by 20 February by sending an email to Academic Chair Hans Sanderson (hasa@envs.au.dk) with the following information:
- Topic – a short description of your idea
- Format – (lecture, workshop, etc.)
- Target audience(s) – students/staff (all?)
- Online or onsite (and at what AU campus?)
- Suggested time of day
- Do you need assistance from AU – if so, what kind?
Would you like to know more?
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your idea before submitting it, you are welcome to contact Hans Sanderson at hasa@envs.au.dk.
