New exam hall ready for the summer exams: Get a first look in April
AU’s new exam hall is ready to open its doors and will be the venue for all of AU’s on-site written exams in Aarhus from 1 May. Staff and students will have the opportunity to visit the new hall in week 17 before the summer exam season begins.

From now on, students on Aarhus Campus will always know where to head to when taking on-site written exams. From 1 May 2025, AU’s new exam hall in Lisbjerg will open its doors for the summer exam season.
The new hall will replace AU’s current exam locations around Aarhus and has been specifically designed for written exams, with excellent technical facilities as well as an indoor climate, lighting and acoustics tailored to exam situations. It also offers good facilities for students with tailored assistance needs, such as ten individual exam rooms and the option for partitioned desks in communal exam areas.
In week 17, staff and students can attend open house events to see the new hall before the summer exam season begins. You’ll have the chance to explore the new building, get to know the facilities, and find out the best way to get there. You’ll also be able to ask questions about everything from the interior design to the practical aspects of taking an exam at the new venue.
How to get there
The address of the new exam hall is Spang Olsens Gade 7, 8200, Lisbjerg. You can take bus 200 (Lisbjerg Erhvervspark/Søftenvej) or light rail L2 (Lisbjergskolen or Klokhøjen).
You can also use the new commuter bike path, which goes all the way up to the exam hall. There is limited parking at the exam hall, but you can use the car park at the Klokhøjen light rail stop.
