Parking in the University City
As an AU employee, you can now park in two new parking areas in the University City, at Peter Sabroes Gade 8 and Peter Sabroes Gade 37. Read more about what applies – and what you should pay particular attention to regarding the transition period from the current to a new employee parking permit.
Please note that the current employee parking permit is only valid in the University City on a temporary basis. More information about where to register for the new permit will be provided in the new year.
In brief:

A separate employee parking permit for the University City will be introduced for the two parking areas. It will be free of charge, in line with the current employee parking permit that applies to the rest of Campus Aarhus. The new permit will take effect in the new year.

The current AU employee parking permit may be used temporarily in the University City until the new permit takes effect.

BSS employees may therefore park in the parking areas in the University City during the transition period until the new parking permit takes effect, using their current employee parking permit. This also applies to guest parking.

Parking areas in the University City
AU has a total of 303 parking spaces at the University City, distributed across two parking areas:

Parking garage, Peter Sabroes Gade 8: 203 spaces
In the parking garage, an electronic sign at the entrance shows the number of available AU spaces. If space is available, you may park freely in all spaces in the garage. -
Parking basement, Peter Sabroes Gade 37: 100 spaces
In the parking basement, the AU spaces are located at the rear of the basement in AU’s blue zone.
Other AU parking areas
Employee parking at the rest of Campus Aarhus, for example in the University Park, Nobelparken, and Tåsingegade, will continue unchanged. See the locations of employee parking.
Students may not use parking spaces designated for employee parking. Students are referred to the public parking spaces at Campus Aarhus, and are encouraged to use public transport.
