Teaching periods

  • Teaching for each semester will take place over 6 full weeks at Aarhus University Hospital and will require physical attendance.

  • The teaching is a combination of lectures, exercises, wetlab activities and simulations.

  • The 6th week is for the exam which will also require physical attendance.

  • Teaching in week 36-40, 2026.
  • Exam held in week 41, 2026.

2. semester 

8 February – 19 March 2027

  • Teaching in week 6-10, 2027.
  • Exam held in week 11, 2027.

3. semester 

6 September – 15 October 2027

Teaching in week 36-40, 2027.

Exam held in week 41, 2027.

4. semester 

1 May 2028

Deadline for written master’s thesis is 1 May 2028.

Oral defence and exam is between week 19-24, 2028.

Registration and signing up for the different modules

Enrolled for the full master's programme

Once enrolled for the full master's programme, you will automatically be registered for all teaching activities as well as all exams. 

You will automatically receive an invoice for the upcoming semester. 

If you are enrolled for the full programme but wish to withdraw from a module, please contact Kristine Lauridsen at: [email protected].
 

Enrolled for single modules

If you are enrolled for a single module and wish to enroll for the next module, the registration deadlines are:

  • Spring semester: 15 November

  • Autumn semester: 1 May

Once enrolled for a module, you will automatically be registered for the relevant teaching activities and for the exam.

Timetable

You can find the time and location for all lectures at timetable.au.dk.

  • The time and location for spring courses will be available in late October.
  • The time and location for autumn courses will be available in late April.

At My Studies (https://mitstudie.au.dk/en) you can access your own personal timetable.

  • Your timetable for the spring semester will be updated in mid-December.
  • Your timetable for the autumn semester will be updated in mid-June.

 

Brightspace

Brightspace (https://brightspace.au.dk/) is the learning platform for Aarhus University. Logon to Brightspace to find course specific info and communication from your teachers regarding the syllabus, assignments, etc.
