The Executive Committee – colloquially FU – consists of a group of volunteer biology students who are responsible for the overall management and practical operation of the Biology Degree Programme Committee, BFU.
Among other things, this includes informing fellow students of various news, inviting to BFU meetings and something as elementary as providing office supplies and paper for the Biohuset.
As BFU's day to day management, FU represents the common interests of the biology students. FU has the contact to the Department management and is responsible for following up on decisions made at the BFU meetings.
FU appoints representatives to all the department’s councils and committees, where students can influence the biology programme and the department.
Additionally, FU is responsible for BFU's overall economy.
Normally, FU holds closed meetings, but if you need to talk to FU, contact one of its members or request to attend part of a FU meeting.
