Aarhus BSS Canteen closes and re-opens in a completely new environment
We are creating a new and improved environment for you when Aarhus BSS Canteen and AU Library move together into the canteen's current building. The canteen will therefore be renovated and will be closed from 26 June 2026 to January 2027. You can still use AU Library.
See where you can buy food and find study places while the canteen is being renovated.
New food truck while the canteen is being rebuilt
From week 35 until the canteen reopens, you can buy food in the food truck that will be set up between buildings 1324 and 1326. In the food truck, you can buy sandwiches, dish of the day, coffee and cake.
Of course, you can also buy food in the other canteens on campus.
Use the many study places on campus
It is not possible to use the canteen's study places while it is being renovated. You are welcome to use the other study places in the University Park – North-eastern Corner and in the University City instead.
Autumn Friday bars in the University Park are moving to a tent
Even though the canteen is closed, there will still be Friday bars in the University Park in the upcoming semester. From week 34 until the autumn break, the Friday bar will move into a large tent. You can find the Friday bar tent between buildings 1324 and 1326.
