Aarhus University has agreements with roughly 1000 universities all over the world.
This gives AU students the unique possibility of going on exchange and studying in another country.
What are the next steps?
Which destinations you can apply for depends on your study programme and the time you wish to go abroad. Therefore, it is important that you carefully research your options, as you may not necessarily be able to go to the same destinations as previous exchange students or students from other programmes.
The possible destinations are only released on 1 November and 1 April, when the application round opens. Only from these dates can you see which destinations you can apply for in the relevant application round by using the MoveON database.
Note: You are welcome to explore the MoveON database beforehand or talk to former exchange students. However, be aware that the destinations you find or hear about may not necessarily be available to you when the application round opens on 1 November or 1 April.
