You have the opportunity to study abroad during your 6th semester of the Bachelor of Engineering program at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
As a student of the Bachelor of Engineering program, you are required to take the course "Preparation for Bachelor Project" during your 6th semester while abroad. You are expected to attend the classes online and stay informed throughout the semester. It is crucial that by the start of the 7th semester, you have identified a thesis topic and potential project partners.
If you are considering continuing your studies with a master’s program, such as in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, you must ensure that you meet the admission requirements applicable at the time of application.
*Special Note for Health Technology:
Most foreign universities offer health technology and medical engineering as specializations at the master's level rather than at the bachelor's level, which may make it challenging to find specific health technology courses at the undergraduate level.
You have the opportunity to study abroad during your 3rd semester of the Master in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
It is important that you have completed the mandatory courses before your departure, and we recommend that you have a plan for your Master Thesis before going on your study abroad.
In the Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, you have 15 ECTS credits of mandatory courses in your 5th semester. Therefore, we recommend that you consider studying abroad during your master’s program instead. It can be challenging to find equivalent courses at a foreign university and have them approved by the study board, and there is a risk that courses may be canceled or rescheduled late in the process.
